Medical-grade pregnancy tests have a higher accuracy rating for several reasons. These will detect the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in your urine or blood. The results of these tests will usually provide you with a more accurate result sooner than an at-home pregnancy test. Serum blood testing for pregnancy works in a more quantitative manner by measuring the level of hCG in your blood. These are administered by a provider in a medical facility.
You might STILL be pregnant!
Pregnancy symptoms can be puzzling, especially when they occur but a pregnancy test comes back negative. There are several reasons that an at-home pregnancy test may not reflect an accurate result; tests may not be sensitive enough, testing too early, or even a medical condition that causes an inaccurate test result.

You might NOT be pregnant!
Pregnancy symptoms don’t necessarily mean you ARE pregnant. Other factors can cause similar symptoms, including stress, hormonal imbalances, birth control usage, illness, or dietary changes. Even changes in your daily routine can impact your menstrual cycle and potentially cause delays.
There are several reasons for missing a menstrual cycle altogether.
Premenstrual Symptoms (PMS): Hormonal changes before your period can lead to symptoms that mimic pregnancy. PMS is one of the most common reasons to feel this way. Some of these feelings include tender breasts, fatigue, bloating, emotional sensitivity, light cramping, and even food cravings. Progesterone levels rise during this time, whether or not conception occurred. So, feeling pregnant during this phase is quite common.
There are other factors that can cause this also.
